As part of the Fairbanks Mobile Crisis Team (MCT), Peer Support Specialists respond as part of a Peer & Clinician team to individuals in crisis across the Fairbanks North-Star Borough community through dispatched 911 events. In collaboration with Law Enforcement and intra-agency dispatch centers, MCT Peer Support Specialists work under the direction of the Clinician and Clinical Team Manager to engage individuals in crisis and post-crisis services to promote strengths-based stabilization through advocacy, resiliency building, coping and regulation skill modeling, and meeting individuals where they are at.
