Peer Support Center Assistant CPRS
About The Position
RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center, has an immediate opening for a part-time (20 hrs/wk) Peer Support Center Assistant at our Oak Ridge location. The scheduled days will be Tuesday-Friday, 11:30am-6pm. Requirements
- Must be a current or former mental health consumer.
- Prefer candidates that are eligible for Certified Peer Recovery Specialists training within 1 year of employment.
- Must have knowledge of and sensitivity to the needs of adults with serious mental illness
- must have good communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
- must be active in your mental health recovery.
- Must have a valid Tennessee driver's license and safe driving record to be insurable under Ridgeview's policy.
- Flexible to work in other counties when needed.
