The Peer Recovery Support Specialist for the Continency Management Outpatient Program provides recovery-oriented support to individuals in the community. This role includes completing Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) screenings within the community setting. Drawing from lived experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges, the Peer Specialist engages individuals through individual and group sessions to foster hope, empowerment, and recovery. The Peer Recovery Support Specialist uses the Wellness and Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) model and other evidence-informed tools to support participants in building coping skills, navigating reentry, and connecting to services. The ideal candidate demonstrates empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to support clients of all ages in a culturally competent and recovery-focused manner. Hours: This position is Full Time, Monday – Friday, with some evening and weekend hours required.
