Mindoula is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery/Support Specialist to provide support to members in Tennessee. This is a remote, work-from-home position that also requires travel within the community to visit members in their homes. The ideal candidate is caring and compassionate, enjoys helping individuals facing substance-exposed living make positive changes, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a talent for problem-solving. Candidates must be a Peer Recovery Specialist or Peer Support Specialist and have successfully participated in a recovery program. In this role, the specialist will serve as a role model for individuals in various phases of recovery, follow Mindoula's Substance Use Disorder Program guidelines for care planning, client needs assessment, and screenings. Responsibilities also include referring clients to resources and coordinating with the Substance Use Disorder Program team, primary care providers, managed care organizations, and community agencies to ensure quality care. Mindoula was founded on the belief that the behavioral health system needed fixing, focusing on individuals rather than diagnoses.
