Mindoula is seeking a Certified Peer Recovery/Support Specialist to provide support to members in Tennessee. This is a remote, work-from-home position that requires travel within the community to visit members in their homes. The ideal candidate is caring, compassionate, has strong organizational skills, and a talent for problem-solving, and has successfully participated in a recovery program. Peer Recovery Specialists serve as role models for individuals facing substance-exposed living who are in varying phases of recovery. In this role, the specialist will follow the Substance Use Disorder Program division of Mindoula's guidelines in planning care, assessing client needs, completing screenings, referring clients to resources, and coordinating with the Substance Use Disorder Program team, primary care providers, managed care organizations, and community agencies to provide quality care. Mindoula was founded based on personal experiences with mental illness, aiming to fix the behavioral health system by focusing on the individual rather than diagnoses or symptom sets.
