PEER RECOVERY COACH
About The Position
At Sana Lake Recovery, the approach to substance use and mental health disorders is centered on treating them as chronic diseases unique to each member. Programs are designed to be member-centered, providing personalized care throughout the healing process, from medical detox to recovery supportive housing in the St. Louis area. Sana Lake's unique approach is built on exceptional care, evidence-based practices, and compassionate staff, fostering an intimate environment for meaningful recovery and overall well-being. Sana Lake is rapidly expanding and is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach who is passionate about helping individuals and families recover. In this role, the Peer Recovery Coach will focus on the acquisition, development, and expansion of rehabilitation skills necessary for individuals to progress in substance use or co-occurring recovery. Interventions are tailored to the unique relationship between the Peer Recovery Coach, the individual, and their family unit.
Requirements
- Have a high school diploma (or GED)
- Self-identify as a present or former primary client of substance use services
- Are certified as a Peer Support through the Missouri Credentialing Board
- Have a valid State of Missouri Class E Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Emphasize the acquisition, development, and expansion of rehabilitation skills needed to move forward in substance use or co-occurring recovery
- Build interventions on the unique relationship between the Peer Recovery Coach, the individual served, and his or her family unit
