Peer Mentors help young adults attending Transitions navigate throughout their college experience. They help guide students through their post-high school journeys and support them to achieve success in higher education, in their careers, and in learning to live independently. Requirements
- High School Degree or GED is required
Nice To Haves
- Be enrolled in a College course or a recent college graduate is preferred
- Valid NYS Driver's license with 2 years' experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- help guide students through their post-high school journeys
- support them to achieve success in higher education, in their careers, and in learning to live independently
Benefits
- A Peer Mentor can earn between $19.12 - $22.64 per/hour
- Unique shifts that allow for up to 40 hours within three days
- Thursday - Saturday, or Saturday - Tuesday shifts available
- Live-in, day, evening, and weekend shifts available
- Paid training
- Both full-time and part-time positions are available
