The University of Maryland School of Maryland (UMSOM) Department of Psychiatry - Addiction, Research, and Treatment has multiple openings for Peer Recovery Support Specialists (Community Outreach Worker II) to support the Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling by providing non-clinical support to persons at risk or receiving treatment for problem gambling. These are contractual positions. The Maryland Center of Excellence on Problem Gambling (the Center), is a program of the University of Maryland School of Medicine and funded by the Maryland Department of Health Behavioral Health Administration.
