About The Position

Provide contextualized workshops that feature cross-discipline content and tutoring for students in high-risk courses. These positions are housed in the Academic Success Center to provide student academic support in various initiatives. To view a complete job description, click here.

Requirements

• Completion of at least 15 college credit hours with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at an institution of higher education, preferably one of the Alamo Colleges District's colleges.
• Grade of "B" or better in the targeted or higher level course in the assigned subject.
• Must have two or more points from the education and/or experience tables below.
• High school diploma or GED 1
• 24+ college hours 2
• 48+ college hours 3
• 72+ college hours 4
• 96+ college hours 5
• Graduate level course (post-baccalaureate) 6
• Completion of targeted course 1
• One semester at college level 2
• Two semesters at college level 3
• Three semesters at college level 4
• Four semesters at college level 5
• Five or more semesters at college level 6
