About The Position

Primary Responsibilities/Requirements: Evaluate patients with physical disabilities, diseases, and deformities for appropriate orthotic treatment Select appropriate orthosis Fabricate, fit, adjust and modify devices on patients with foot or ankle conditions Identify the specific causes or pain according to the patient’s condition Use examination findings to design devices for the patient to wear Observe bone structure, ankle joints, nerves, and circulation to determine the needs of the patient Create and develop a treatment plan for the patient for a quick and efficient healing Follow-up care Ability to assist CPO/CO when needed Assist other team members as needed Must also possess: HS/GED required Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Outstanding organizational, verbal, and writing skills Independent and highly motivated Initiative and self-discipline Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history Ability to document through chart notes Physical Demands: Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully Must be able to lift 40 lbs Frequent use of forceful exertion during treatment Frequent moving, pushing, pulling of heavy patients and/or equipment Constant standing and walking Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas Consistently work at a productive pace Must readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes To apply please visit: https://www.visittoc.com/about-us/careers/

Requirements

  • HS/GED required
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
