Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (PRN)
About The Position
Support Arbor Therapy's multidisciplinary pediatric therapy team in Mesa as a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist supporting children and families in our outpatient clinic. Arbor Therapy provides compassionate, evidence-based therapy services designed to help children reach meaningful developmental milestones. Our team believes in a collaborative, strengths-based approach , working closely with families and other therapy professionals to create individualized care plans that support each child's growth and independence. As our AAC program continues to expand , we are excited to welcome clinicians who are passionate about supporting communication through innovative tools and strategies. This PRN role offers flexible, as-needed scheduling and the opportunity to support our Mesa clinic team while delivering high-quality pediatric therapy services.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Arizona Department of Health Services
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience or interest in early intervention and developmental disabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
Nice To Haves
- Experience or interest in feeding therapy
- Experience with AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication)
- Bilingual skills
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and feeding disorders in a pediatric outpatient setting
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Monitor client progress and adjust therapy strategies to support optimal outcomes
- Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to support skill development outside of therapy sessions
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team , including occupational and physical therapists
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of therapy services
- Provide mentorship or supervision for students or assistants , as needed
