About The Position
Blue Bird Day, a leading specialized intensive pediatric therapeutic day program, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinic-based Social Worker (LSW, LPC, LCPC, LCSW) to join our multidisciplinary team of top therapists in Wheaton, IL. This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based, play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative, innovative environment designed to help children thrive. As a Social Worker (LSW, LPC, LCPC, LCSW) at Blue Bird Day, you will provide neurodiversity-affirming care to children ages 2-7 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. You'll foster each child's social skills, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, and coping skills through:
Responsibilities
- Providing individualized and group therapy
- Collaborating daily with occupational, physical and speech therapists
- Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
