About The Position

The Social Work Associate is a paid, full time, benefits eligible clinical social work position for Licensed Social Workers (LSW) designed to support the attainment of qualifying supervision hours toward LCSW licensure. This role provides direct patient care across a variety of settings within the scope of their clinical privileges and consistent with the accreditation of a master’s level social worker. In addition to patient care, responsibilities include timely and accurate completion of medical records, participation in clinical rounds and seminars, and engagement in required supervision and educational activities. The role is structured as a professional development opportunity, offering hands on clinical experience and routine supervision by an LCSW in alignment with Pennsylvania licensure requirements. This position provides structured clinical supervision, mentorship, and experiential learning to support professional growth while delivering high quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania Social Worker licensure (LSW)

Responsibilities

  • Initial and ongoing assessment of patient's psychosocial status.
  • Develop assessment and treatment plan.
  • Lead clinical patient care in individual and group settings.
  • Record progress notes.
  • Arrange for discharge and after care.
  • Write and dictate admission notes, progress notes, procedure notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Using evidence-based treatment protocols to provide care in a variety of settings.
  • Provide patient education and counseling covering health status, test results, disease processes, and discharge planning.
  • Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
