Our location in Omaha, Nebraska and Western Iowa currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Sales Specialist . This position is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in hospital and office settings. TERRITORY The ideal candidate will be based out of Omaha, Nebraska . This territory includes Nebraska and Western Iowa . Up to 75% travel - company car provided. This position does not offer relocation. Local candidates only, please.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• The ideal candidate will be individuals with 2+ years of healthcare sales experience combined with clinical experience (Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses).
• Will also consider candidates with only one of those backgrounds listed above.
• Verification that you will satisfy all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include vaccination for COVID-19.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of hospital settings, specifically within pediatrics a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing and supporting territory sales goals in each hospital and office settings for Similac and PediaSure.
• Hospital negotiations and contracting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment.
• New product launches.
• An understanding of the hierarchy of hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units.
• The ability to work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.
• Effective administrative skills.
• Budget management.
• Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.
• Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short- and long-term goals.
