Pediatric Registered Nurse (Overnight)
About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care for a 1½-year-old male patient in the comfort of his home. This is a meaningful opportunity to deliver high-quality, individualized care in a calm and supportive environment. Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of Texas
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Trach and ventilator experience required
- Ability to work independently with confidence, patience, and professionalism
Nice To Haves
- Experience with G-tube or GJ-tube feedings
- Pediatric private duty or home health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled overnight nursing care in a pediatric home setting
- Manage tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent care , including suctioning and routine trach care
- Administer enteral feedings via GJ Mickey button
- Monitor, assess, and document vital signs and patient condition throughout the shift
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to the plan of care
- Communicate effectively with family members and the clinical care team
