About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care for a 1½-year-old male patient , in the comfort of his home. This is a meaningful opportunity to deliver high-quality, individualized care in a calm and supportive environment. Position Details: Location: Lubbock, TX Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Pay Rate: $20–$26 per hour Pay Schedule: Weekly pay

Requirements

Active LVN license in the state of Texas
Current BLS/CPR certification
Trach and ventilator experience required

Nice To Haves

Experience with G-tube or GJ-tube feedings
Pediatric private duty or home health experience preferred
Ability to work independently with confidence, patience, and professionalism

Responsibilities

Provide skilled overnight nursing care in a pediatric home setting
Manage tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent care , including suctioning and routine trach care
Administer enteral feedings via GJ Mickey button
Monitor, assess, and document vital signs and patient condition throughout the shift
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to the plan of care
Communicate effectively with family members and the clinical care team
