About The Position

The Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the areas of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus to expand our academic practice. There is an immediate opportunity to engage in a busy tertiary clinical practice in an established, longstanding department with a brand new, state-of-the-art clinic and surgery center. In addition to providing excellence in patient care, ample opportunities exist to develop independent and collaborative research and innovative education models in a dynamic academic clinical department. The College of Medicine has an active faculty compensation plan, which includes incentives and bonuses. Employer will assist with relocation costs. Requirements

  • Completion of an approved residency program
  • Postgraduate fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in Florida
