Location: UnityPoint Health Clinic- Prairie Parkway- Cedar Falls, Iowa Shift: 40 hours/week, Variable from Mon-Thur 7-6p; Fri 7-4pm We're seeking an Occupational T herapist to join our team! In this role, you'll provide occupation al therapy evaluation and treatment to outpatients while implementing and improving occupational therapy services. Why UnityPoint Health? Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited educational program in occupation al therapy is required
  • Licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Iowa as defined in the Iowa Occupational Therapy Regulation and Practice Act
  • BLS Certification
  • Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree is preferred
  • 1 year of clinical experien ce as an Occupational Therapist is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and treats patients in need of occupation al therapy services and participates in an d provides all necessary components o f this responsibility including c ompletion of proper evaluation, creation of a treatment plan, and completion of treatment sessions per established treatment plans
  • Produces appropriate documentation and billing in compliance with all third party payor and regulato ry guidelines
  • Provides ov ersite and supervision of certified occupation al therapist assistants an d other support personnel
  • Completes appropriate communication with all patients, caregivers, fellow staff, and referring providers/clinicians
