About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist with a passion for patient care. This position is for pediatric therapy to be conducted in a patient’s natural setting, such as their daycare or home. We are currently looking for both immediate and delayed hires, and we work with every therapist to ensure they are prepared when they onboard. Fox Health was founded in Apex, North Carolina in 2019 by Sharlene and Hector to be part of the solution to healthcare disparities. We currently proudly serve central North Carolina, and are always looking to expand our services. After graduating with her Bachelor's degree in Health Service Administration, Sharlene simultaneously pursued a Master's degree while running a practice with more than 12 therapists and 200 patients. Hector graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering, and pursued a career in software development. Together, they aim to use their years of experience to bridge the gap between patients and healthcare, by making it more accessible and affordable. Our plan is simple, foster quality healthcare among our providers, while keeping the company lean and efficient. Care starts with our providers; and our goal is not just to hire the best, but to promote dialog and transparency in order to constantly improve our services. We want our providers to always feel appreciated and heard.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality occupational therapy services with a methodology based on accepted practices
  • Clearly record necessary notes in order to create treatment plans with short and long-term goals
  • Consistent communication with families and caregivers to increase carryover
  • Daily documentation of each session
  • Assume responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
