Please follow this link for a closer look at what it’s like to work at Children’s Wisconsin: https://www.instagram.com/lifeatcw/ We are now looking for new team members to start in February and March of 2026 We have full time 12 hour shifts with several schedule options: - a day/night rotating schedule (6 weeks on each shift)- 07-1930 and 19-0730 - straight 12 hour nights. 19-0730- hourly night bonus (in addition to shift differentials) after successfully completing orientation These schedules include an every 3rd weekend rotation and a holiday rotation. These are set assigned 6 week cyclic schedules. We may have openings for full time WEEKEND PROGRAM on days or nights (EVERY Fri,Sat, Sun on Days OR EVERY Sat/Sun and one shift during the week for nights.) eligibility to participate in bonus program on weekend program after completing orientation. Weekend program staff also have a holiday rotation. Must be willing to commit to hired schedule for at least 18 months after completing orientation. 6+ years wait to get to straight regular days schedule due to the size of the unit and team. Orientation is full time for 4-6 months and could be on any shift based on preceptor assignments. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a 76-bed unit designed for the individualized care of critically ill newborns and their families from admission to discharge. These infants are admitted from a diverse geographical area for specialized medical and/ or surgical needs. These infants and families are cared for by a unique blend of interdisciplinary caregivers: neonatal nurses, neonatal nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, human milk technicians, physicians, OT/PT and speech therapists, respiratory care practitioners, social workers, pharmacists, dieticians and internal case managers. Responsibilities include being a partner in the care management team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care and delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience). A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. NRP certification within 1 year of employment. Responsibilities include being a partner in the care management team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care and delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience).
