Pediatric Nurse II - Day Surgery 1.0 FTE
About The Position

The Day Surgery team plays a vital role in supporting children and families during outpatient surgical procedures, and they are seeking compassionate and detail-oriented professionals to join their dedicated team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing in order to meet the recommended entry level for a professional nurse (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience)
- 2 years of prior nursing experience
- A license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin (proof of license required on or before first day of employment)
- Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required
- One of the following certifications/licenses: BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council), License RN-Registered Nurse (State of Wisconsin), License RN-Registered Nurse (AZ Compact - State of Arizona), License RN-Registered Nurse (ND Compact - State of North Dakota), License RN-Registered Nurse (OH Compact - State of Ohio), License RN-Registered Nurse (TN Compact - State of Tennessee)
Responsibilities
- Being a partner in the care management team
- Providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care
- Delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment
