Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing- RN required
  • 5-7 years Nursing required
  • Good written oral and communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to successfully interact with physicians, other medical providers and associates.
  • Demonstrates skills in conflict resolution and problem solving.
  • Demonstrates ability to handle numerous simultaneous projects.
  • High attention to detail demonstrated in clinical and contractual settings.
  • Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical material to physicians, other clinical Associates, and patients and their families both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to plan and schedule tasks and projects and to maintain control of own workflow by prioritizing projects.
  • BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association required
  • Registered Nurse Arkansas - Arkansas State Board of Nursing
  • Registered Nurse Mississippi - Mississippi Board of Nursing
  • Registered Nurse Tennessee - Tennessee Board of Nursing

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing- RN preferred
  • 1-3 years Clinical research preferred
  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator - Association of Clinical Research Professionals
  • Certified Clinical Research Professional - The Society of Clinical Research Associates

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates research studies under the supervision of the Principal Investigator.
  • Acquires and maintains data.
  • Plans for and utilizes fiscal resources in a cost-effective manner.
  • Carries out clinical patient assessment for specific clinical projects.
  • Establishes, utilizes, and maintains effective communication systems within the Research Network.
  • Develops and maintains quality initiatives for the Network.
  • Analyzes data and prepares reports and presentations.
