About The Position

Diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and conditions that affect the general well-being of neonates and pediatric patients. Duties will include, but not be limited to: performing examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic and screening tests, prescribing and ordering medication as appropriate for patients' medical conditions, and referring patients for further care as clinically appropriate. These duties include stabilization of neonates requiring NICU level care until appropriate transfer can be made. Requirements

  • Active Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA are required.
  • Must have completed an accredited Pediatric Residency Program and be an active member of the Medical Staff of CarolinaEast Health System with privileges in Pediatrics.
