About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time compassionate, board certified/board eligible compassionate Pediatric Hospitalist to join our dedicated and collaborative team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Collaborative, Flexible Team Environment- Work alongside a collegial group of pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, pediatric subspecialists, and dedicated nursing staff, all committed to delivering exceptional, patient-focused care. State of the Art Pediatric Unit- Our pediatric unit is equipped with the latest technology, designed to provide expert care for pediatric patients. The unit provides comprehensive services, including a fully integrated PICU and NICU, and is supported by subspecialty expertise in areas such as pediatric cardiology, neurology, surgery, and more. Diverse and Meaningful Clinical Practice- Our pediatric hospitalists provide comprehensive care for a wide range of pediatric patients, including newborns >35 weeks. The role encompasses managing admissions from referring facilities, performing emergency department consults, and caring for patients with complex medical needs. Requirements

  • Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations.
  • Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians.
  • Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.
  • Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
