FNP, PNP or PA Part time position (30 hours/week) Monday - Friday, possible evenings/weekends, no holiday or call responsibility We are seeking a candidate to work alongside an interdisciplinary team for the Golisano Pediatrics Mobile Clinic Initiative. This candidate will provide pediatric primary care services on the 38-foot mobile unit to patients in the community. Primary services include well child checks, illness visits, vaccinations, screening labs, as well as identifying social, behavioral, or mental health concerns and connecting patients to appropriate resources. The goal of the mobile clinic initiative is to start a connection or re-connect patients to a medical home. A strong interest in community partnerships and adapting clinical care to needs of the community is essential. Additional responsibilities may include education of multidisciplinary learners and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Strong written and verbal communication skills, flexibility, and comfort working in a changing clinical environment is necessary. The ideal candidate will bring at least three (3) years of clinical experience, with a preference for those who have practiced in a primary care environment. At this time, we are seeking candidates with prior clinical experience and are not considering new graduates. Requirements

  • Require a Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner, an active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing, an active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing and current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Required completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program, an active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing and current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)
  • NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relation skills, computer competence and must have an active desire to learn.
  • Experience in primary care pediatrics is required.
