About The Position

The Smiley Tooth Pediatric Dentistry is a well-established, multi-doctor pediatric practice dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to children in the Rockwall and Sulphur Springs communities. Our team consists of experienced pediatric dentists supported by highly trained dental assistants who work together to create a positive and comfortable environment for patients and families. Our doctors have built strong relationships within the community and maintain a high standard of clinical care while seeing a steady patient flow. We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Dentist to join our growing team. The associate will work across both Rockwall and Sulphur Springs locations and collaborate with our existing providers to deliver exceptional pediatric dental care. This role begins at 3 days per week, with the opportunity to grow to 4 days per week as patient demand continues to increase. The ideal candidate is confident in treating pediatric patients and experienced with oral sedation procedures outside of residency training. Sedation protocols include: Hydroxyzine Demerol Chloral Hydrate

Requirements

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry Residency
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Dentist
  • Active or eligible for a Texas dental license
  • Experience with oral sedation outside residency
  • Strong communication and patient management skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric dental care
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions in children and adolescents
  • Perform restorative, preventative, and emergency procedures
  • Perform oral sedation procedures when appropriate
  • Educate patients and parents on oral health and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate patient records using digital practice management systems
  • Collaborate with other providers and staff to ensure quality patient care
