About The Position

HealthPartners is looking for a Pediatric Dentist to join our Dental Services team. Being a part of our team means you will have an impact on the care that our patients receive every day. Highlights/Responsibilities of this role include: Clinical Care Provide pediatric dental care to infants, children, adolescents and pediatric patients with special needs Diagnose and treat dental conditions in children including cavities, gum disease and malocclusions Perform preventive, restorative and emergency dental procedures Conduct restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, and other dental work. Educate patients/families on oral hygiene and preventative care Collaboration & Professional Practice Partner with medical care providers throughout the multidisciplinary HealthPartners system to address total‑body inflammation connected to oral health conditions. Collaborate with general dentists, hygienists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and other healthcare providers. Requirements

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of an accredited Pediatric Dentistry residency
  • Must be BE/BC in Pediatric Dentistry
  • MN Dental licensure and DEA registration

Responsibilities

  • Provide pediatric dental care to infants, children, adolescents and pediatric patients with special needs
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions in children including cavities, gum disease and malocclusions
  • Perform preventive, restorative and emergency dental procedures
  • Conduct restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, and other dental work.
  • Educate patients/families on oral hygiene and preventative care
  • Partner with medical care providers throughout the multidisciplinary HealthPartners system to address total‑body inflammation connected to oral health conditions.
  • Collaborate with general dentists, hygienists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and other healthcare providers.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning
