About The Position
DEFINITION: The Pediatric Coordinator facilitates non-clinical processes of communication between nursing, medical staff, patients, families and all other hospital departments. Responsible for specific assigned area and all related duties for that area. Exercises sound judgment in making routine decisions and seeks assistance in more complex decisions. Handles confidential information appropriately.
Requirements
- High School graduate
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years of hospital experience as a unit secretary.
- Medical terminology, keyboarding and secretarial skills.
