The largest of the four Duke Healthhospitals with 1062 patient beds, it features comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic facilities, including a regional emergency/trauma center, an endo-surgery center, and more.Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist - Ambulatory Care (Gastroenterology/Endocrinology) Working Hours: Weekdays Day Shift General Description of the Job Class The gastroenterology and endocrinology clinical pharmacist provides clinical pharmacy services to patients served by Duke Pediatric Gastroenterology and Duke Pediatric Endocrinology. The clinical pharmacist shall provide services for gastroenterology and endocrinology disease states. The pharmacist may support the development of therapy plans, facilitate medication access, provide patient education, support laboratory monitoring requirements, serve as a resource for healthcare providers and staff, and facilitate utilization of Duke retail and specialty pharmacies, as appropriate. A clinical practice as a clinical pharmacist practitioner will be maintained at an outpatient clinic and/or virtually. The position may also include precepting pharmacy students and residents.
