About The Position

The Division of Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy (BMT & CT), University of Minnesota Medical School, is seeking an academic pediatric hematologist/oncologist with training and experience in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy. The Division invites applications for an academic track position, with a focus in clinical care and research in non-malignant diseases at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The ideal candidate will have translational clinical research experience and clinical expertise in the treatment and clinical research related to blood and marrow transplantation & cellular therapy for patients with hemoglobinopathies, inborn errors of immunity, and other non-malignant diseases, as well as independently obtained research funding. This position will help to further develop our BMT & CT Program’s basic/translational research programs to funnel new ideas from bench to bedside. This individual will also participate in the inpatient and outpatient clinical care of patients at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital.

Requirements

  • Applicants must have the ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of VISA category while in the United States.
  • M.D. and Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
  • Extensive training and experience in blood and marrow transplantation and cellular therapy
  • Demonstrate excellence in patient care and clinical research
  • Must have or be able to attain a medical license in the state of Minnesota
  • Must be able to pass credentialing
