About The Position

Provide administrative support for the Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) process within the Military Treatment Facility. Obtain, assemble, and forward all required documents and records for active duty, reserve, and guard members undergoing medical evaluation. Act as a liaison between service members, their commanders, medical staff, case managers, and disability evaluation stakeholders. Advise service members and families on the medical board process, rights, and benefits. Assist with preparation of impartial medical reviews, rebuttals, and appeals. Track cases through the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES), ensuring timelines and documentation requirements are met. Coordinate with the Informal and Formal Physical Evaluation Boards (IPEB/FPEB) and the Office of the Disability Counsel (ODC). Maintain accurate logs, records, and reports related to the PEB process. Ensure compliance with DoD and DHA policies, safeguarding confidentiality of patient records. Provide compassionate and professional customer service to service members and their families during the evaluation process.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and interpersonal skills.
  • Updated Resume (With all gaps explained)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior administrative experience in a healthcare or military setting preferred.
  • Experience in medical case management, disability evaluation systems, or administrative support for healthcare programs is a plus.
