About The Position

At U.S. Bank, Client Relationship Consultants build relationships with customers by meeting face to face and engaging them to provide counsel. They are responsible for assessing and attending to customers' banking needs, obtaining and processing customer and account information, educating clients on available deposit and loan products and services, and recommending financial solutions based on each customer's unique goals and needs. Additionally, they originate and close consumer loans, open accounts, and handle branch opening and/or closing duties. This position operates on a specified schedule, working less than 20 hours per week during peak business times in a branch. The role requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain NMLS registration requirements may result in rescission of the offer or termination of employment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of customer service experience
  • One to three years of sales experience
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z
  • Subject to the required NMLS registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check
  • Ability to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies
