PDS Account Lead Job Description The PDS Account Team Lead is a driven leader who is able to lead a team of professionals to exceed client’s expectations for all project management services globally. They are a pro-active leader who partners with our client to translate the client’s business requirements into world class action plans to be executed by the team. They serve as the client’s trusted advisor to discuss long term client strategies. A credible, impactful communicator, he/she operates with a “no surprise” approach. Having a successful track record of leading high-performing teams, including virtual teams, will ensure that only the highest caliber talent is assigned to support the client’s business and that employees are held to rigorous performance standards. The PDS Account Team Lead has knowledge of leading practices in the Project Management industry and is able to drive innovative and best practice solutions that our client perceives as best in class. The PDS Account Team Lead is also a proven leader and manager of people capable of developing talent into a high-performing, world class team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of documented, progressive experience in project management with knowledge around property and transaction management
  • Experience in a client-focused, results/metrics-driven organization
  • Experience in leading high-performing teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills via 1:1 and group interactions/routines, PowerPoint presentations and email.
  • Good understanding of Capital Plan creation and management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all PDS technology
  • A strong working knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling and process as they relate to project management
  • Experience working with Landlords, developers and institutional owners
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Project software

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing MEP infrastructure projects a plus

Responsibilities

  • Leadership
  • Ability to build and lead diverse teams globally, with both dedicated and variable project managers
  • Ability to start a new PDS service delivery with a new client. Understanding of what is required for a successful PDS service delivery implementation.
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and change, and to make decisions
  • Demonstrate the ability to create a solution-oriented environment delivering value to the client while working within the process requirements of the account and JLL.
  • Relationship Management / Client Service
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key CRE (corporate real estate) partners. Drive the “Trusted Advisory” culture throughout all levels of the team.
  • Ensure the team is fully aligned and exceeds KPIs and SLAs and is in full compliance with all applicable Master Service Agreement requirements
  • Make certain the team fully supports CRE programs and initiatives and proactively identify opportunities for improving processes and deliverables and team.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Corporate Project Management and Facilities Management leadership on and off the client account.
  • Develop relationships with consultants/contractors/vendors and evaluate their performance.
  • People Management
  • Provide Team oversight, direction and necessary training for: technical support; project budgeting and scheduling including Owner’s goals & objectives, site improvements, entitlements & permits, consultant selection; design team management, schedule creation and management, contractor selection and management, financial management including cash flows, anticipated cost reports and monthly reports.
  • Team Resource management
  • Assist in training and developing JLL team members in the skills and understanding of firm procedures, methodology and practices expected for a successful project implementation.
  • Responsible for end to end employee management including; hiring, onboarding, leading developing, and mentor team members.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and talent practices such as midyear and year end reviews.
  • Financial
  • Financial ownership and accountability – Ability to manage client and JLL financials and an expert in agent versus principal and risk mitigation
  • Support the client’s global capital planning requirements. Support the development of scope, budget and risk to feed into Client’s capital planning process.
  • Support strategy initiatives with budgets including hard costs and soft costs and firm knowledge of construction cost/benefit analysis
