Hourly Rate\: $34.38 - $37.90 DOE Weyerhaeuser is seeking a PdM Specialist/ Vibration Analyst for our Kalispell Complex operations. This is a full-time hourly position reporting to the Reliability Supervisor. This position will provide primary support to the entire complex in Kalispell, MT. We are seeking an individual who is committed to safety, has a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work for the Kalispell Complex and support both Lumber and Plywood mills. The qualified candidate would have foundational knowledge of vibration analysis, alignment, balancing, non-destructive testing, lubrication, data assessment, and bearings. This position will help to develop reliability and operational excellence to ensure continuous process improvement, including training individuals on the basics of their skills sets to further develop reliability centered maintenance. Both the plywood and lumber facility are highly automated and utilize many leading-edge technologies in the wood products industry. Key Functions \: Support Kalispell Complex by consistently improving reliability to meet operational excellence and reliability goals through proven maintenance practices, new technology and innovative thinking. Work with a team of electricians and millwrights to troubleshoot and repair complex problems, deliver preventative and routine maintenance on plant equipment, create innovative solutions to complex issues, and work on capital projects. Use vibration analysis techniques (non-route analysis; building test points and routes; data collection/analysis) and maintain vibration databases. Use alignment techniques (conventional and laser) during equipment setup and troubleshooting Test equipment through various testing protocol such as resonance testing, magnetic particle, and dye penetrant NDT; ultrasonic testing; air flow and particle testing. Provide the facility with field balancing including use of dynamic balancing techniques. Use knowledge of bearings and gears to provide root cause analysis of failures, designation, application, and proper installation. Train and develop others in vibration analysis, alignment, balancing, non-destructive testing, data assessment, and bearings. Participate in housekeeping safety initiatives, to include exhibiting safe work practices and helping others work safely. Other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Industrial Maintenance or equivalent experience minimum of 3 years in maintenance role is required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with analytical and data visualization computer skills required.
  • Experience using SAP or similar CMMS platforms required.

Nice To Haves

  • ISO CAT I/II/III Vibration Certification Preferred
  • Experience with vibration, bearings and gear analysis preferred.
  • Experience with alignment and balancing preferred.
  • Experience with ultrasound and thermography preferred.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical operations (pumps, fans, flows, etc.) and use of technical math skills preferred.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
