PDL Marketing Course Developer and Instructor The Adjunct Teaching Specialist is a temporary (per course), part-time, non-tenured position for our Professional Development and Lifelong Learning Programs. The Marketing Certificate Course Developer will be responsible for developing and teaching one or more of the following course topics: â Marketing Analytics and Strategic Applications â Introduction to Digital Marketing Strategy and Planning â Social Media Marketing and Content Strategy â SEO and Analytics for Digital Marketing â Integrated Digital Marketing Campaigns The Adjunct Teaching Specialist will collaborate with an instructional designer and program manager to develop 6-week non-credit course(s) during the first approximately six months of the position. Course development typically takes 6 months, with the first course offering taking place shortly after development ends. After developing a course, the Adjunct Teaching Specialist will teach the course using the developed curriculum. The courses are fully online and use a blend of synchronous and asynchronous instructional methods. Live instruction is done through a weekly Zoom session. Asynchronous instruction is done through the university's learning management system, Canvas. Each course will last 6 weeks. During the instructional phase of this position, the Adjunct Teaching Specialist is expected to be engaged and available for a total of 11 weeks, including the 2 weeks prior to the course start date and 3 weeks after the course end date.
