About The Position

Developing propulsive electric motor calibrations in support of EV, EREV, and Hybrid Vehicles Engineering propulsive electric motor calibrations in support of EV, EREV, and Hybrid Vehicles Developing comprehensive test plans and perform thorough testing to maximize functionality under various conditions Optimizing electric motor dynamometer data sets for efficiency, torque capability, and torque accuracy Collaborating cross-functionally with customers in Hardware, Software, and Attribute Teams Documenting and communicating program milestone data in technical management reviews Established and active employee resource groups

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering degree.
• 1+ years of experience working with complex control strategies (C-code, model-based).
• 1+ years of experience working in electric motor, powertrain, or vehicle testing environments.
• Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• MS in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical).
• 2+ years experience in electric motor controls, electric motor and inverter design, or systems optimization.
• 1+ years experience with Software Tools such as ATI Vision, ETAS, MATLAB, Python, GitHub.
• Proven experience delivering solutions to complex problems with minimal oversight.
• Highly collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
