Job Description Role Summary The PCS Supply Chain Strategy Leader will define, own, and drive the long‑term supply chain strategy for the Patient Care Solutions (PCS) business. This role is responsible for shaping and executing strategies that improve cost, resilience, scalability, and operational performance across the end‑to-end supply chain. The role partners closely with PCS, ISC, and enterprise leadership to translate strategic priorities into executable plans, lead complex cross‑functional initiatives, and deliver material financial and operational impact. This position operates at the enterprise level with high visibility and influence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field; Master’s degree or equivalent advanced experience strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain strategy, operations, planning, or consulting within complex global organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing supply chain strategies that deliver material financial and operational results.
  • Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems, perform quantitative and financial analysis, and deliver fact‑based executive recommendations.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders across manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, planning, and finance to drive enterprise‑level outcomes.
  • Strong program leadership capabilities, including managing multiple complex initiatives in parallel and driving execution through cross‑functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in supply chain strategy consulting or transformation roles with trusted‑advisor experience supporting senior and executive leadership.
  • Deep expertise in inventory strategy, planning optimization, S&OP / S&OE design, and network & footprint modeling.
  • Experience leading manufacturing footprint consolidation, supplier strategy, and sourcing / procurement optimization initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen, including business‑case development, investment analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive end-to-end impact, from strategic roadmap design through execution and sustained results.

Responsibilities

  • Own development and execution of the annual and long‑term Supply Chain Strategy for PCS, including strategy roadmaps, funding requests, and supporting business cases.
  • Lead supplier transfer and NPI strategy, including initiation, governance, and execution of manufacturing transfers through TRS / TR0 milestones.
  • Provide supply chain leadership for M&A, divestitures, and due‑diligence activities, ensuring operational feasibility, risk mitigation, and value creation.
  • Identify and drive opportunities across cost productivity, inventory optimization, footprint and network design, sourcing strategy, and operating‑model transformation.
  • Apply structured problem‑solving and analytics to complex, ambiguous business challenges spanning manufacturing, planning, logistics, and sourcing.
  • Develop financial and scenario models to assess trade-offs and support executive decision‑making.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives without direct authority, aligning stakeholders across supply chain, finance, engineering, and business leadership.
  • Influence strategy development by incorporating external best practices, market trends, and industry benchmarks.
  • Communicate complex strategies clearly and concisely to senior leaders, enabling alignment and execution.
  • Support execution governance to ensure strategies translate into sustainable operational outcomes.
