About The Position

EisnerAmper is seeking entry-level professionals to join their Private Client Services (PCS) Assurance team in Fall 2027. As a PCS Assurance Staff I, you will be involved in planning and performing reviews, compilations, and accounting services for family-owned, closely-held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. The position requires understanding client businesses, proposing journal entries, and preparing work papers to ensure financial statements comply with professional and firm standards, as well as US GAAP or income tax basis. You will work in a collaborative team environment to meet clients' assurance needs. The Private Client Services Team focuses on connecting clients with solutions for their short- and long-term financial goals, emphasizing teamwork, creativity, and proactive solutions. Requirements

  • Must have completed a Bachelors and/or Master's degree in accounting, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
  • 0-2 years recent public accounting experience
  • This position is hybrid and does have in-office requirements
  • Must be able to reliably commute to assigned office location and client sites as required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure (which may differ from the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam) in the state of your assigned office location
  • Pursuing 150 academic credits or master's degree in accounting, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
  • Final Graduation Date of Dec 2026 – Sept 2027
  • Strong academic track record (Minimum GPA: 3.0)
  • Strong MS Excel and MS Word
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and with a team
  • Great communication, leadership, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform reviews, compilations, and accounting services
  • Work towards understanding your client’s business
  • Propose journal entries
  • Prepare the work papers to ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with professional and firm standards
  • Perform procedures necessary to ensure statements are in accordance with US GAAP or income tax basis
  • Work in a collaborate, team environment to service our clients’ assurance needs
