Requirements

Enrolled or accepted into an accredited nursing program. Must provide proof of enrollment or acceptance, listing the program enrolled in with a formal letter from the school’s registrar.
Basic Life Support certifications are required within 30 days of hire. (provided through the Student Nursing Program).

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to ensure personal care and comfort.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
Perform additional skills upon evaluation and approval through the Student Nurse Intern program, which includes: NG Removal Changing NG Cannisters IV Removal Emptying of Hemovac and JP drains
