PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: To provide for the deployment, management, operation, and maintenance of the County Information Technology systems. PC Support Specialist I: Entry Level PC Support Specialist II: Fully Functional MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND PERFORMANCE: Analyze and troubleshoot computer, printer, server and network problems Assist with repair of computer, printer and server hardware and software. Support end users and manage helpdesk tickets Perform hardware and software upgrades as necessary. Install, configure, maintain and dispose of County technology systems and services Assist in maintaining a countywide software and hardware inventory. Assist with projects and assignments for Information Technology. Maintain systems logs and records. Attend training seminars and in-service programs as requested by supervisor. Evaluate hardware and software used to provide information services. Assist staff with training where required. Participate in County staff development programs.
