About The Position

This position will be the initial point of contact for all patients and guests whether in person or via telephone. Receives and relays iing and outgoing telephone calls for the clinic. Provides directory information and transfers calls as appropriate. Greets all iing patients and visitors as they arrive to the clinic. Answers general questions and directs patients accordingly. Overall this position is responsible for creating a friendly and professional experience for all patients and guests who arrive at the clinic or call on the phone seeking assistance.

Requirements

• One to three years of experience as a switchboard operator.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Basicputer knowledge, data entry and/or word processing.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operates an electronic switchboard to route iing calls and to place outgoing calls.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to place long distance calls and conference calls as needed.
• Provides directory information to internal and external inquirers.
• Acts in a professional manner at all times.
• Demonstrates the ability to beanized and flexible in stressful situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
