Responsible for operating the communication area of the hospital. This role routes incoming calls, assists with long-distance calls for patients and doctors, and may handle all overhead paging. This position also ensures that all emergency codes and alarms, such as fire, trouble, medical gas, emergency weather, pharmacy, and generator alarms, are managed according to established hospital policies and procedures. Additionally, this position supports the hospital's communication needs by maintaining a high level of service and diligently performing assigned tasks.
