How you'll make an impact Responsible for the accurate documentation, distribution and reconciliation of payroll and the administration of the payroll system. Collates and verifies data and inputs into the payroll system. Updates payroll records and processes routine changes to employee records. Work in a variety of projects and services including setting up Department of Labor and Department of Revenue tax identification numbers in various states and municipalities. Assist with tax audits, reconciliations, or other tax projects as needed. Provide ongoing tax maintenance services directly to clients that include (but are not limited to) SUI rate updates, tax agency notices, vendor system updates, documentation, and state login templates, among others. Provide proper client guidance related to the correct application of state and federal regulations. Require basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through relevant work experience and may require professional education or certification. Has working knowledge and skills developed through formal training or work experience. Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions.

Requirements

  • Typically requires minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.
