We’re hiring a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to help ensure Rulans are paid accurately and on time—because when payroll runs smoothly, everyone benefits! Reporting to the Sr. Payroll Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of payroll, bringing precision, accountability, and problem-solving skills to a fast-paced environment. This role partners closely with our People and Accounting teams and offers the opportunity to streamline processes, solve payroll challenges, and contribute to a seamless, transparent payroll experience that supports our mission of caring for mental health. In this role, you will support accurate and timely payroll processing through thorough data review and timesheet validation. You’ll audit and maintain employee data, compensation records, and tax setups in ADP Workforce Now, Carta, and Fidelity to ensure accuracy and compliance. You’ll also help develop and refine payroll documentation, including standard operating procedures and workflow guides, to strengthen internal controls and drive continuous improvement. The Payroll Specialist ensures compliance with multi-state, local, and federal labor and tax regulations, assists with tax filings, payroll and bank reconciliations, and supports year-end processes such as W-2 preparation. Additionally, you’ll respond to payroll inquiries with professionalism and discretion, maintaining confidentiality while delivering timely, high-quality support.
