About The Position

The Payroll Specialist manages the complete payroll process for U.S. Salty Plants (hourly personnel), ensuring payments are timely and accurate. This role involves strategic collaboration with Legal, Finance, HR, and other departments on daily activities, as well as strategic projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field, with consideration to the right candidate with a combination of experience, certifications, and demonstrated knowledge.
  • Demonstrated knowledge on garnishments, taxation, and regulations for US.
  • Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS (SAP HRP, SF, ServiceNow).
  • Customer service and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for US Salty Plants hourly employees, while keeping compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for payroll and tax processes.
  • Monitor time evaluation of salty plants and timesheets, and update for payroll employee profiles as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors for audits of payroll, and provide information and reporting of payroll information.
  • Support payroll optimization, standardization, and training with plant payroll specialists.
  • Partner with IS & business for system enhancements and corrections for automated and accurate payroll processing.
  • Provide support to complex payroll inquiries to employees and management.
