The Payroll Specialist is a knowledgeable professional who is responsible for ensuring accuracy of timesheets. Collect, verify, and input timekeeping data, including overtime, bonuses, and commissions, to calculate gross and net wages. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws. Ensure garnishments are entered into the HRIS System. Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors. Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
