Role Overview The Multi-Entity Payroll Specialist is responsible for full-cycle, multi-state payroll administration across multiple legal entities and EINs. This role ensures accurate payroll processing, federal and state tax compliance, proper intercompany allocation, accounting accuracy, and audit readiness. The ideal candidate has a minimum of five (5) years of payroll experience, including multi-state filings and multi-entity payroll structures, and hands-on experience with Paylocity and Workday . Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is preferred. This position requires strong internal control discipline, reconciliation expertise, and the ability to manage payroll complexity across multiple jurisdictions and corporate entities. Why This Role Matters The Multi-Entity Payroll Specialist is a critical control function within the Company’s financial governance framework. Payroll represents one of the organization’s largest recurring expenditures and carries significant regulatory exposure across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. In a multi-entity structure, this complexity increases materially due to separate EINs, intercompany allocations, and jurisdictional tax obligations.
