About The Position

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Process, analyze, and audit multi-state bi-weekly payrolls. Reconcile payroll balance sheets, accumulators, YTD earnings, payroll tax withholdings and general ledgers. Process manual checks and research payroll discrepancies as necessary. Process employee terminations and ensure that changes to departments, locations and compensation are accurate and timely. Coordinate with the HR, Benefits, and Compensation teams to ensure an efficient and accurate payroll cycle. Manage workflows to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of new hires and transfers. Create ad hoc reports on a regular basis. Assist with payroll related vendor invoice management. Assess payroll challenges, resolves payroll matters and makes recommendations for more efficient process improvements. Other duties as assigned OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of Kronos, e-Time, ADP or in-house payroll experience preferred. Ability to be accurate, detailed and organized in a high volume/fast paced environment. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Advanced problem-solving, analytical, critical thinking and prioritization skills. Ability to be a collaborative team player and work effectively with all departments. Strong work ethic, self-motivation, goal driven team player. Strong communication skills. (verbal & written) Physical Requirements Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment. Education & Experience High School diploma or GED 4 or more years of payroll experience CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES (CPP) Certified Payroll Professional certification preferred. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 4 or more years of payroll experience
  • Ability to be accurate, detailed and organized in a high volume/fast paced environment.
