About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support our growing construction operations in Anaheim. This role is ideal for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, understands the complexities of construction payroll, and is comfortable handling certified payroll reporting, LCPtracker, and DIR requirements. This position is part time roughly 20 hours per week! Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in certified payroll Must have experience with entries into LCP Tracker and DIR website Certified payroll reporting needed High School Diploma required, AA or Bachelor’s Degree is a plus. Job Description: This role is centered on entering Certified Payroll reports via LCP Tracker. The ideal candidate will have prior knowledge of how the software operates and how to navigate it for documentation purposes. Additionally, there may be ad-hoc duties based on the amount of reporting required.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll for field and office employees, ensuring accuracy in hours, classifications, pay rates, and job costing.
  • Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports through LCPtracker, including correction of errors and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Maintain full compliance with DIR public works requirements, including uploading certified payroll records (eCPR), verifying wage determinations, and tracking apprenticeship ratios.
  • Audit timesheets, union reports, and subcontractor payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage prevailing wage documentation, fringe benefit calculations, and required backup for public agencies.
  • Coordinate with project managers, HR, and accounting to ensure proper coding of labor to projects and cost codes.
  • Respond to agency requests, wage compliance audits, and project-specific reporting requirements.
  • Maintain confidential payroll records and ensure adherence to company policies and state/federal labor laws.
  • Support year-end processes including W-2s, payroll reconciliations, and reporting.
