Position Summary: Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 900 employees across a diverse, hospitality-focused workforce. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values precision, and takes pride in supporting team members through reliable and efficient payroll operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a high-volume or hospitality environment
  • Experience with ADP payroll systems strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 900 employees using ADP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and company policies
  • Review and audit timesheets, wage calculations, deductions, and adjustments
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and status changes
  • Ensure proper handling of benefits deductions, garnishments, and tax withholdings
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll inquiries, providing excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with HR and department leaders to ensure accurate employee data and timely updates
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and efficiency
